Crazyest time on the Lake...
Crazyest time on the Lake... Ok I've seen and heard of some crazy **** going on the lakes, but fck this weekends experience takes the cake for sure. 
Ok a good buddy of mine has a lake house on Lake Placid right on the Guadalupe River. House sits 100 yards or so from the damn. So we are 3 cases in to are Saturday afternoon
sitting on the boat talking, When all I see and hear is a Jet Ski WOT fly by us and I'm like uhh this dude don't know the damn is there with a 30-40foot drop with a large concrete slab. Sure enough he goes fcking flying over that damn and we all are freaking out like WTF, my buddy takes off on his jet ski to the edge and runs down the stairs of the Damn we are calling 911 on a cell everyone is freaking out. I drove to the other side and this guys is really fcked up (hip/legs are out of wak), 5mins go by and the EMS takes over. The guys is scarming bloody murder when they lift him in the stretcher, and they life flight him to a San Antonio hospital. I'm searching the net to see if it made the news in Seguin.

Thats crazy man, we took my buddies boat out this weekend its fun but you can be doing stupid **** or its going to get you, esp on a Jet ski. We saw some kids take out their parents jet skis, couldnt been more than 12 years old and they were ripping on it, doubt they were paying atention to sit, be really easyto hit some one in the water.
On a good side note, I think I found my new love.... Wakeboarding 
Had a badass time wakeboarding learned a few new tricks, and gave myself a fat lip.(hitting the board on a bad fall)

That's gotta suck. A buddy of mine , my boss at the time, was drunk riding his jetski a few years back..he was cutting across the lake and didn't see his wife and brothers in law(who were also drunk) coming towards him in their ski boat. He ended up getting T-boned by the bow of the ski boat. He broke several ribs and ruptured his spleen I think. He was all kinds of FUBAR'd for a while.
HAHA, How the hell did he manage that. We used to have a Lake house there on the water in Turtle Cove, until the flood wiped it smooth out to the foundation. Damn if it's on the Lake Placid Damn he went off of that's nasty. From what I remember that was a pretty good drop and a lot of boulders. But back then there were a lot of warning signs and cables to prevent people from going over, of course a lot of that was wiped out from the two floods in the past 5-6 yrs. Crazy

Thats what I'm scared of, esp when theres a place with a lot of other boats. Where we went there was prolly the same two or three so it wasnt bad, but I would hate to eat **** tubing and get ran over by another boat while waiting for the boat to come around so I can get back on the tube.
