well Brian, if you have the time, and if you are confident enough with stainless, then i'm confident enough with you! I don't have any plans for today or tomorrow, when would fit you best?

Make sure you use 308L wire to weld the bung in...if its a stainless bung...you may want to check that....I have both stainless and mild steel bungs if you need them....

See ya,
Paul

Hey will just run by my house. It won't be pretty, but it WILL hold and it WILL be leak-proof.

problem is, your pop doesn't have a plasma torch to blow the initial hole, otherwise you know we'd be all over it!

I have a step drill I use for that kinda stuff. Nice and easy, perfect round holes without burrs - everytime

Those Uni-Bits work great on aluminized piping but they struggle with stainless. If your bit is fresh you shouln't have a problem. A holesaw seems to work much better on the stainless stuff.

Maybe you're using a nice bit. Basically the bit dulls really quickly.

Last weekend in Canada I had to put 8 02 bungs into our header pipes for our Racepak and I think I went through 4 of those uni-bits before I switched to the hole-saw.

wow, definitely don't have those problems. I've used the same bit to put countless holes in all kinds of stuff. It was a pricey bit though, but apparently worth the cost.

I will wait on this gents, this damn weather is miserable, Brian, I will give you a call if the Larkins and I can't come up with something brilliant, thanks!

Arron - didn't think you guys had something that would go through stainless, still have to wait anyway cuz apparently there's a bunch of **** in the garage right now, blocking the lift.
