shipping transmission to NC, any hookups???

Default shipping transmission to NC, any hookups???

like it says. i'm shipping my trany swap stuff to North Carolina soon, does anyone know the best scenario to send it out there, or anyone have a hook-up in shipping? any help appreciated.

45 gallon rubber made container for the transmission. DHL is the cheapest but does damage more often. Fedex is the best but costs are around $130 or so with $4000 insurance. Put cardboard on the front of the input shaft and put paper or something to hold the trans in place. You should be good to go.

forwardair.com was really cheap when i had a motor shipped. you just drop it off at the airport(close) and they pick it up there.

I shipped my tranny I sold to Maine (t56) it cost me 80 or so through my job using UPS. I just drained it, packed the thell out of it and 136 pounds it is on its way. UPS max weight is 150 so keep it in mind

It costs me $160 to ship one to NC.

BP, can you hook me up if i bring the pallet up there?

i'm shipping the th400, converter, cooler, and a4 pedals.

No, sorry. You can find someone cheaper anyways. I was just giving you an example. Fedex would be cheaper, faster and they'll come pick it up. I don't work in shipping and they run a really tight ship back there.
