Tell me about it. I had one idiot I work with last week ask me why I didn't just buy a fast car, like a Ferrari, if I was just going to do all this stuff to mine. I explained that I'm still under 1/2 the cost of a Ferrari and about 2X the performance and comfort, plus it's a GM car that has a heritage I grew up with (and doesn't sound like a pissed of sewing machine). He says, well the new Ferrari has over 400hp (he's a car and driver retard and probably latched on the 430 reviews), to which I reply...I've got 600...what's your point? He shut up after that. He has a Porsche Carrera vert, and I told him if he wants to see fast, bring it out and he can watch me fade into the distance.

Thanks Tony. I'll resize again. Not too good with the photo crap!

Edit: Fixed it!

I don't like how the lip is not chromed. I would get the whole wheel powdercoated black, translucent black, or gray.

I hear ya. But I think that's where the pictures make it look worse than it is. The spokes are actually brushed aluminum...not even polished, so the contrast isn't as bad as my old *** digicam makes it look!

Plus the spokes match the brushed aluminum Lingenfelter badges, which is pretty cool. Might look better with the lip brushed too though!

I wonder if a good wheel repair shop can put those on a wheel lathe and 'machine' a nice brushed lip around the perimeter to match the spokes? That might look pretty cool too. I think DFW has some wheel places like that.

I know it's been said before, but I'll throw in my 2 cents. Didn't like it at first glance, but after looking at it for a sec it grew on me REAL QUICK. Different...suttle...clean. Me likey! (By the way, there is a trash can in that pic...no way!)

I was wondering about this, as well. However, I'd like to see a decent photoshop of what this would look like on the car.

Ron: I guess you'll just have to come by everyone's house and show them in person. I'm in the northwest part of Houston .

19X11 with 305/30 and 18X9.5 with 275/35 (Bridgestone R050s).

Backround sucks, just wanted to snap a few before work (just put them on last night).

Any DFW guys see me rollin' around, give me a wave and we can shoot the breeze.

I must get these!

You MUST check dates of posts before grave digging them.

Ron doesn't even own that car anymore.

FYI, it's allways a good idea to remove the images from a post that you quote, as it clutters things. If you're trying to point out/refer to something on a single pic, leave only that one.
