Hey all,

I'm considering racing seats for the not-so-distant future, and I was wondering if there was anywhere around DFW that you could go to test them out. I've seen a couple at PepBoys, so there must be a place that has name brand parts out there to look at. I would hate to buy a set of seats without having sat in them before.

I'd be more than happy to head down to Houston for the same thing. I'm down there every other month or so anyway.

Bobby Archer's shop in Fort Worth off of Hwy 199, they have just about all of the Corbeau seats that are available. their prices aren't that great (very high) but you can get an idea of what they look like then order them later from somewhere else.

btw, i have a set of seats i bought off ebay two years ago that i'm going to be selling soon, shoot me a pm and i will get you a pic of them.

Thanks skipper! I'm not really in the market yet. I'm in a training class this week, and I'm just doing some research way ahead of time in lieu of listening to this instructor, rofl.

Performance Speed Tech located at Motorsports Ranch in Cresson has a nice display of various seats to give you an idea.

Ultra-Shield is located in Tyler, Tx and will custom fit you to one of their aluminum shells.

I plan on visiting Ultra Shield in the not too distant future.
