Default I gotta new toy as well

As most of you know, a couple weeks ago i posted up looking for a streetbike of some sort. Well, after not one but 2 of the deals i had fell through, i went ahead to the harley dealership.
I ended up getting a 2007 Harley Custom Deluxe. Its got the 96 CI and 6 speed tranny.
I am pretty happy with it, although its put up again until i come back stateside.

no kidding. Pics?

Also, how tall are you? The Softail Deluxe is tailored for shorter riders. If you are over 5-10", you will probably want handlebars that are moved a little more forward. Sit on a Softail Heritage or a Fatboy and compare the bar distance.

yeah, i have pictures, but CANT host them from a military installation.
Nine Ball, i wanted a fatboy, but the 07's have a recall on them, something about the front forks? But overall i am happy with it, and you are right the riding position is a little akward as i am 6'4''. It Does have a few amenities, like the running boards and whatnot. Its pretty comfy too. i did take a tour of the pine country on it after i got it.

6'4" on a Deluxe? lol. Those bikes are set up for riders in the 5-2 to 5-8 range. The seat is lower and closer to the tank, and the bars are pulled back more.

Bet you were kinda cramped

I would have sold you my '06 Fatboy for payoff. I'm interested in a V-Rod SE now

ya but if i had gotten an 06 it would have lost value quick because of the new 96 ci motors. i plan on doing a few things to it, a new seat and handlebars are in the works, along with a crash bar with stirups. As far as the motor goes, ill go with pipes filter and an ignition to be able to adjus the timing... where do you get you aftermarket parts at? you have any links i can browse while im here in kuwait?
