Lubbock is always one of the worst places to play. The fans are rowdy (sometimes to the point of being obnoxious), Tech always gears up to play at home, and the fans' desire for a true rivalry makes it a trap game for anyone, especially Texas and A&M. Last night's game was sloppy, poorly officiated, and showed that Texas' defensive secondary leaves much to be desired. Tech's offensive line really showed up last night. I think Texas only got one sack the whole night, and that's impressive against our defensive front.

It was an exciting game, but not a particularly good one. I'm still nervous about this week's game against Oklahoma State. The previous meetings turned into "The Vince Young Show" after falling behind BIG early. Colt has great poise and is taking leadership of this team, but I don't think we can afford to get down big again.

Well, im still in Lubbock, and gonna stay to watch Black Jesus play the Texans, then head home to that wonderful city of Austin.

I met alot of cool *** tech guys and girls, but then I def met a ton of douche bags. After the game I was harrassed the whole time, to the point of getting in almost 4 fights. It was rediculous, they would only try to **** w/ me as it was a 20 to 1 ratio. ******* tech tards that are classless. While leaving i was congradulating most about the game as anybody that puts up 520 yards deserves kudos... but hell all was expected.

I had a great time seeing my friends, and luckily a win... I was never worried about losing, just pissed it was so close when it shouldnt be. 2 fumbles and that ******* INT killed us.

Anyways, again, great game tech, see you in Austin in a year

well it was a good game, and tech had a lot of chances to win, but couldn't pull it out in the end...

sorry to hear you had to deal with a bunch of ********! it reallly pisses me off that so many tech fans hates UT fans, i think the only reason they hate yall so much is b/c yall win so much...i mean dont get me wrong i dont like yall either but its strictly football! and besides i go for UT as long as their not playing Tech.

anyways good game Raiders and UT!!

Yeap... my thoughts too. TT played a good game overall... UT is a better team (Not talking ****) but they didnt play like it IMHO. TT knocked it up a couple notches and with UT's 3 turnovers it was a damn good game... Glad to see TT play good ball... Also glad to see UT get into the game (even though a little late)... Both QB's played great!

Adam and Dustin said more or less the same thing about the Tech fans. It was a fun game to watch and I never doubted that we would come back, but I was screaming at our secondary and Selvin the whole game. I hope they get on him in practice. His lack of ball protection in this game resembled the Selvin form the past 2 years.

@ h/c ls6. Tech scored 3 touchdowns on offense and passed for alot more than 250+ yards. Our secondary proved to be weak in this game like we already knew it was.

Like i've said, any team that is good in the air will do good against UT. I don't however expect us to have that many turnovers in future games.

Where were the hell raisers at i guess i just couldn't see them from the opposite end zone. Oh and btw sorry for the dumb ***'s out there. The only Texas fan i gave hell sat in the student section near us and a girl got next to him and yelled go red raiders and he proceeded to push her face back and knock her over. Oh btw i think he goes to tech what a total dumb ***.

I was actually correct on the fact i used....OSU was up 28-9 on texas last year, before texas scored 38 un-answered points. thats was in 2005-2006 season. the year before (2004-2005) OSU was up 35-14.

and i was saying to think before you speak, of which i did think and tried re-calling memory from the previous day, you on the other pull stuff out of your *** all the time, and allow your brain to deteriorate in size everytime you post.

Well, I did not see all of the game, but I did see the last quarter or so. And I thought the tech receiver should have gotten the first down when the refs signaled that he didn't. So that was the only questionable call that I remember seeing.

Did it affect the outcome of the game? Probably not.
As many turnovers as there we're, tech very well could have turned the ball over on the very next play.

IMO, the calls really didn't affect the outcome and UT is decisively the better team. But great game regardless. And great effort by tech.

I'm not a fan of either team, but I find it strange that tech fans are complaining about bad calls. And you now what I'm talkin about

well you got everything right except 3 pics!
only one pic and one sack the entire game...62 passes and only one pic, that is pretty badass.

they are always tough, just as much as aTm is tough, when you are the team people shoot for to knock off... they play their hardest. aTm hates everything about us, and tech is just full of morons that like to attempt to beat things
