I'd be thanking my lucky stars is I was a Texas fan to come out of Lubbock with a win! A few inches is all that seperated TU from loss #2

Damn that game the day after thanksgiving is looking more interesting every weekend that goes by!

ya that was an awesome game, obviously i was hopin tt would pull it off so we would be tied for bid 12 south 1st place going into our game vs ou this weekend. im excited for thegame this weekend. im headin up to the station saturday morning. last time i went to a home game vs ou was 2002 and we ended tgheir undefeated season, under the lights. it was a perfect night for football too and you could feel it in the air that there was an upset about to happen. that is the high we get as true college football fans. the excitement. the next couple weeks will be huge in deciding big 12 south. mainly because our schedule vs ou and texas. of course beating nebraska is a must for us to have a shot. good game in lubbock this weekend.

If we play again, I feel we will still win, our D is making some changes and trying new players as our D is hurt right now... but only time will tell...

in games that are on the line, especially a championship game, if texas gets there and nebraska is waiting, then i see it being an easy test for texas.

Only one DB is hurt right now, on y'alls side, and your rushing D is still there. Your D is still very much intact. With Techs chuck and duck offense, of course y'all would plummet in rankings towards passing defense. i wouldn't sweat it.

yeah im not worried, but we are riddled w/ hurt players, killabrew was out, and we are working w/ 2 other fresh LB's... im not worried, but i hate having that big *** weakness... esp w/ aTm having a potential play action threat

I think texas will win out the rest of the season. I don't think there is another team out there than can exploit the texas defense like tech did. As for nebraska, the horns just played like crap and the calls inside the 10 were too conservative if you ask me. But I guess that's why i'm not a coach.

Did it affect the outcome of the game? Probably not.
As many turnovers as there we're, tech very well could have turned the ball over on the very next play.

IMO, the calls really didn't affect the outcome and UT is decisively the better team. But great game regardless. And great effort by tech.

I'm not a fan of either team, but I find it strange that tech fans are complaining about bad calls. And you now what I'm talkin about
Well, considering you "did not see all of the game", I don't think you have room talk about the game or whether or not a call changed the game...but for conversational purposes I guess will reply to you.

The call that I think had an impact on the game was when it was 21-0 in the first half. We were driving down field, again, and it was 3rd and long on the ut's ~30. Harrell throws it to Filani, he catches it, takes 3 steps, and falls to the ground for about a 15 yard gain. 1st down inside the 20! We line up to run the next play, but wait, the play is under review...WTF?? What are they reviewing? Well, it turns out that catching the ball, taking 3 steps and then falling to the ground, no longer warrants a catch. We have to settle for a field goal when we should have had a first and 10 inside ut's 20, about to go up 28-0. But no, the score is instead 24-0, making that call a 4 point swing. You know how much we lost by, 4 points...

We also had that first down in the 4th quarter that was called short, had that stupid-*** pass interference call on 3rd and long with under 2 mins left, etc...

Anyways, I hate blaming the refs, but you asked for a game changing call, you got it.
