Its college football season!! how come we can't talk about it??? how come we cant talk about big 12 football in the Texas section, in the middle of the football season?

yeah the one that skipperbisket started got closed cause he was being a jackass...but the other title is 'a&m vs. UT game' so i dont think that one got closed b/c of the title...

Well, from what I can tell....you can talk smack on this board if you are a horn fan. But fans from other teams are not allowed to talk smack, especially against the horns. It may have alot to do with the fact that half the moderators in this section are horn fans.

They get locked because that is SSU material. If it's not car related, take it to SSU, that is what they made the site for.

And all that is fine, the one thing I don't like is the inconsistency of the threads that get locked. But we have to realize that there are A LOT of threads on this site, and we can't expect every single one to be moderated the same...

Thanks Logan, I didn't realize that the thread had been closed and then reopened. However, I did read this thread, and no where in this thread was it pointed out that the other thread had been closed and reopened, so reading it again isn't going to help any...

The owner of the site even said he welcomes college football talk since its dealing with Texas teams, but some maturity should be shown instead of acting like over-the-top jackasses. We all know some **** talking will be in the threads, but keep it somewhat civil.
