10 sec capable TA with hurt motor
I have decided to sell the TA before I build a stroker and make it faster than my race car project. LOL
This is not a gutted whored out car. Weighed 3600 lbs with driver and was running 7.2x @ 96 up until a few weeks ago when I broke it. It has not been apart yet but I am pretty sure it chunked a rod. Plugs, springs, rockers alll look OK so I am 98% sure the heads are fine. Basicly put a short block in it and add a light driver and this is a 10 sec car on motor.
-98 TA 95Kish miles on body
-ram air hoood
-Moser 12 bolt with 3.73's 3 pos relocators, HD steel driveshaft
-TH400 RMVB with brake and 4000 TCI converter and Yank crossmember
-Weld drag stars 15 x 4 and 10's
-Spohn drag bar / BMR torque arm and control arms
-custom tune by RPM Performance
-Ported heads By Trevor Johnson Racing Heads, hardend pushrods
-HS modifed stock rockers
-underdrive balancer
-SVO red top injectors
-Jet Hot headers with custom stainless over the axle true duels
-ls6 intake , ported S3 throttle body
-QA1 12 way adjustable shocks
Thats all I can think of right now. The blown up short block was basicly a stock rebuilt motor with rod bolts and M2 cam. Before I had the shift light in the car I was going by the factory tach. I found out that are way off with a fast reving motor. That's why I think I killed it. Asking 10,500.00 obo as is or would be willing to put it back together for aprox 13,000 depending on the parts you would want to use. I have a trailer so I may be able to help with delivery or meeting someone 5-6 hours out of DFW TX. Has a clear TX title. I sold the rear tires off of it as I planned to upgrade to a 28" tall tire. I will have a pair of SS wheels on the back but still comes with the welds
Don't ask me about part out as that is not an option at this time.
It will be ava as is for about the next two weeks. After that I start putting it back together. Will trade up or down for a silver TA convertible

Thanks guys...
No cage. Thats sort of how this all came about. I started making planes for a pretty wicked 408. Then I started thinking about cage and eveything else I need to do. Then when its all said and done I have another race car. I already have a nice moly cage in the bu so i decided to only have one race car. I do think I am going to do a 408 Gen III motor but for the Malibu instead. I think I can build a pump gas LS1 that will run as good as the 13.6 race gas 406 SBC that I have for in now.
