Default Going to HRP - What do I need to Know?

I am thinking about going on Friday or Saturday to see what my car will run. I went to HRP's website, but I couldn't find any rules/regulations. What do I need to bring? It is a convertible. Do I need a helmet at least? If so, where can I get one? Anything else?

You'll need a helmet and wear pants. They won't let you run in shorts. If you're in the tomball or NW Houston area I'll let you borrow one of my helmets if they fit. Let us know how you do!

Sundays are better than Fridays due to it being so crowded on Fridays and you are able to only get a few passes in.

You need to check the HRP website or call before heading out also. If it's an extremely cold day, sometimesthey shut the track down for safety reasons. They can't keep enough heat in the track to keep it hooking. Same goes for HMP and the other tracks.

Good luck!
