Figures! Just bought car ... now SES comes on!
Hey guys,
I drove about 15 minutes, went to a store, came out 15 minutes later, drove down the road a few minutes got on it a tiny bit and then noticed 'service engine soon'. I took it to auto zone and it said "PO300" - the PCM has determined that multiple random misfires have occurred. Troublecode OBDII (Alpha) P Code. Is this something to be concerned about? What should I do?
I was wanting to take it to the track tomorrow but definitely do not feel comfortable with running it now when the SES light is on.

Nine Ball, I picked the car up a few days ago and have been driving it about 60 miles or so - would it just come on now? Further, would you recommend me staying away from the track even though it isn't flashing?

I agree, dont just start throwing parts at it unless you have the money and they were going to be replaced anyways(mods). How many miles are on it? Might need atleast plugs if theres alot. Your only in trouble if the ses is flashing so wouldnt worry too much.
