Screenshot of a video?

Let me first start by saying that I went skydiving a little while ago, paid an extra $70 or so to get a second jumper to document the whole thing. The film with all my pictures did not come out. But, the video did.

I would really like a picture to hang of my experience so I attempted taking a screenshot of the video playing on my computer. However, it doesn't at all work. The image kinda changes as I scroll the computer? Those of you that have ever tried this will know what I'm talking about. Any ideas?

I assume you have it on DVD? If so you can pick it apart with a DVD editor and then take a screen print from there.

google "print screen" or you can always use movie maker, they'll be just screen shots, but nothing high res.

There are a couple of free and demo programs out there that should do the trick.
