What a tard!! So this new guy shows up at my camp today and comes in my office. He sees a pic of my '01 SS and asks if its fast. I tell him that its pretty quick. I decide to be kind enough to show him a cold start video of my idle that I posted a while back to hear the idle. He sees the motor and says that I should change out my 408 stroker to a "Corvette motor, it would really make my car move out!" I just laugh at him. He then proceeds to tell me that he is gonna build a 90's style Silverado with a chopped roof, candy paint, 22"s, and a 400 smallblock with a blower. He asked me if I had ever heard the sound of a blower. I laughed at him and told him that I have grown up around cars. He says that his truck should pulls 7's to 8's in the quarter mile. I then decide just to get up and leave him sitting in MY office so I wouldnt take the chance of losing to many brain cells talking to him.
Sorry for the rant but this guy makes me want to kill dumb people!!

I have a similar story myself but not quite as bad. After pulling the motor and trans (LS1) out of a 2000 donor Z28 and taking it to my g/f's house and putting it in her garage (while my 98 flood was getting prepped for the install at my buddy's house). Her friends dumb assed boyfriend comes over (I was at work) but one of my buddy's was at my g/f's house waiting on me. Well they are all in the garage shooting the breeze and this idiot looks at my LS1 which was pulled complete sitting on a tire and says "Hey I know what that is, thats an LS1". No sh*t Sherlock, you only heard my buddy say that four or five times, he then asks my buddy what am I putting in, he tells him a SS Camaro 98. This moron asks, why would he put an LS1 in a Camaro? I would put a 454 and blow him away, He must not know a lot about cars. This guy WAS NOT kidding either. Needless to say after I got home (the moron and his g.f were gone by then) my buddy told me and we had a really good laugh. Some people?????
