All lids work the same, just call around and buy whatever is in stock.

SLP lids do not fit the best, very far from it.

Almost all the SLP lids I have seen rub the underside of hoods, BAD. The MTI lids I have fit way better then any other lid brands I've seen.
I've helped a few buddies with theirs so I know how alot fit, not trying to be bias about this.

MTI is also local to you, just take a drive and get one, or from one of the other sponsors we have here in Houston area.

The extra little filter thing, just get the small one and route the hose underneath everything (hide it).

Peace,
Craig.

Damn bro you still haven't got that lid??? They were like two weeks behind when you came over my pad about two weeks ago. Crazy huh, Frustrating but worth the wait when you get it on. Gimme a shout later tonight, want you to come by tomorrow and take a look at her (post surgery) and hear it run. Don't stress the lid though bro get a refund and take your business elsewhere where you will be treated with honesty and respect.

SLP shipped me a 350hp PerformancePac on January 23 and back ordered the lid. They are manufacturing a new type of improved design. Apparently there have been some problems with the new one and they are not satisfied with it and will not sell them until they get it right. The have been telling me "two weeks" every week for two months, but I am willing to wait for a better lid. Yesterday they said they were expecting to receive them "any day now". I'm not happy with this; SLP is not happy; nobody is happy but hopefully the new design lid will make the wait worthwhile. Since the rest of my mods are SLP I would prefer to have an SLP lid.

And FYI, Jayson the owner of MTI invented the lid for our LS1 f-body cars.

Peace,
Craig.
