I got out of school early today so I decided to top the RS out, I headed out to a long straight road and nailed it. I hit the top speed limiter at 112-115mph and some dick in a truck pulled out in front of me so I slammed on the brakes. They wernt as good as the usually are and were making a grinding and whining sound but I slowed down in time and kept going at the speed limit and the brakes were still making the sounds. I pulled over to look at them and my right front has 6 deep cracks and the left front has 3 deep ones and dozens of spider cracks and the pads are shot too. damn

Not sure I'd consider that "lucky," certainly could be much worse, though!

I said I was lucky becuase the rotors held together and I didnt rear end a F-250 at 100+mph
