Do some research and make your decision....its going to be your bike so get what you want!!
! I love it!My RR redlines around 16k as well most 600's do. It doesnt matter anyway there not making any power that high anyway. It is just so you can over rev if you hit a corner to slow so you dont have to shift while in the turn.
I also have riding experience with both bikes....but I total diagree with the statement that the RR whoops the R6 on handling (expectially if both bikes are just of the showroom floor stock). If anything it would be the other way around with the R6 being on top, IMO. Now for performance it is a hard choice for which one is on top, but for top speed and straight line racing the RR would take the top spot, IMO. As for an all round bike R6 is the best....IMO.
Also, just to state both bike are really good, but just in different ways.
But I vote for the Yamaha R6
