2006 Trailblazer SS possibly for sale

Just putting some feelers out there on this one. Im looking to sell my 2006 Trailblazer SS 2WD. Current mods are: Patriot Performance Stg 3 LQ9 Heads, Schneider 238/238 cam, Yank SS3600 stall, Nitrous Outlet 90mm plate system, Tuned by Moe Bailey, QTP electric cutout, Flowmaster single chamber muffler, ORY, CAI, LS1 fans, and some other minor mods.
Im not looking to make any money on the deal, I have about $26k left to pay off, thats about all Im asking. If I get that, I'll let the stereo go with it- Kicker 1200.1 amp, 2 x Kicker L5's.
PM me if interested..

Edit: It has 16k miles on it, body is perfect, just some minor chips on the hood.
Haven't had a decent run at the track but it has gone 13.1's with a 1.9 60ft w/o nitrous. Slicks + Nitrous + built tranny will make this thing run 11s for sure.

Well you know you're going to get asked this so I might as well be the first...how about some pictures? What color is it? What kind of interior?

That's a really big cam. How is the drivability?

Duh, probably a good thing you asked... Exterior is black, interior is grey cloth, 6 disc CD, XM, sunroof, power seats, 2WD.
The cam is very driveable, it is on a 114 LSA. Starts up and runs great everytime. The converter feels more like a 3000 than a 3600, not too loose, but still great power.
More pics available upon request.

Nice looking TBSS. Does it have headers? What is the static compression of your setup? That 238/238 114LSA cam, even with 4 degrees of advance ground in wouldn't give you very high dynamic compression with a 6.0L. I'm wondering if that's hurting your low and mid-range torque. What shift points give you the best performance?

TchargedLS1TA 05-12-2007 03:46 PM

No headers. Static compression was lowered to about 10.5:1 with the big heads, dynamic was around 8.8 I believe. For this big of a cam, the low end isnt too bad. It really doesnt matter much with these truck since traction is such an issue. The highest I've been able to launch it off the foot brake is 2000 without spinning. I forget where the shifts points are, I believe around 6400. You'd be suprised how well it hangs with a bolt on f-body. Took it on cruise with the Austin F-Body a few weeks ago on 2222 (windy road) and it barely had to work it to keep pace..

Nice ride. Any idea what kind of gas mileage it gets and how it compares to a stock SS 2wd. I don't know what the stock ones get anyway.
Thanks,
Bryan

Gas mileage aint the greatest, but then again, this isnt your typical soccer mom grocery getter. It will do about 18 on the hiway and about 13 in the city. Stock they do about 13-15 in the city and the best I could do on the hiway stock was 20. It has 4:10s in the rear, so 70mph is about it for good MPG..
