what about a cam? how much would a mild one cost and how much is installation on one of those? would i have to get anything else done if i went with the cam? what are the negatives on installing one?

mcowart May 26, 2007 09:40 AM

you would need a stall for a cam..maybe not need one on a smaller cam but you would want one..a cam kit and a stall are close in price..4XX$ for a stall and 6XX$ for a smaller cam kit...i personally enjoy my stall and will be putting in a larger cam later.

would a stall affect my daily driving in anyway?

bluestreak98 May 26, 2007 10:09 AM

stall and tires.

Shackleford May 26, 2007 12:01 PM

I'd say get an LS6 cam.

mcowart May 26, 2007 12:12 PM

yes a stall will affect daily driving a littlebit..but you get used to it, just dont get a huge one. Stay under 3500, I like mine wihen i get on it but other than that i get annoyed with it sometimes..

highheat99 May 26, 2007 12:48 PM

what are the affects of a stall on daily driving? and how much would a ls6 cam help out?

An LS6 cam would give a little bit of a horsepower increase but also maintain a stock "feel," as it's a mild cam.

highheat99 May 26, 2007 12:53 PM

would i need to install anything else with the ls6 cam?

don't go with ls6... I think it'd be a waste of time.

You may want to check out 224 cams... I think you would like the turnout.

Just spray it!
