this made me laugh cause some olf them are complete BS, like "buy the cheapest gas" and " dont change your oil every 3K miles"

The wiper blades thing reminds me a of a friend of mine. She went to Autozone to buy new wiper blades a while back. She didn't go to the shelf to look for them, she just went straight to the counter and asked for help. The guy asked her, "What kind of car do you have?"
"A Mazda."
"Which one?"
"A blue one." Then she smiled real big and blinked at him.

He ended up looking them up and installing them for her.

She's not incapable (she has a degree from Rice, for crying out loud), she just doesn't like working on cars.

why did they make you laugh? theyre true. a kia doesnt need 93 octane, and new cars can go longer without an oil change as stated.

yeah, I'm not quite sure why they made you laugh. You only use the octane you need to prevent knock and you no longer need to change oil every 3k miles. I thought this was common knowledge on this board.

I change my oil every 3500 because its habit... still used to running older cars ... I've yet to make the switch to a full synthetic... that should be next on my list though
