i think your mistaken buddy. my 86 iroc with the 305 tpi went a best of 9.84 in the 1/8. when my ls1 was stock, it went 8.63. so you might want to do some more calculations.

I was thinking of running diesel fuel and proturbomagnacharging it with 114psi before the race, just a thought. I will probably just get a new canooter valve and recalibrate my gyrospector for a little extra performance. BTW i only race from 220mph punches because that puts me right in my powerband in 2nd gear.

There's the humor...that's what I was looking for BTW, when does your flux capacitor kick in? Mine comes on at 154.384905871283012 mph...no more, no less.

I would say you need the driver mod then. My 92 had a 350 5speed with true duals, fuel pressure regulator, and a chip(did the conversion). best was 8.1 on the motor and 7.50 with a 100 dry shot. Granted my ws6 ran 8.0 with close to the same mods but the third gen would cross the line first. stayed next to many ls1 cars up til about 130-140.

Sounds like Capn Smokey has a nice little motor in that car...Id bet he cleans up on some unsuspecting folks that think 3rd gens are a cake walk b/c old technology.
