I trying to fix my a/c after the wire that plugs into the condenser broke. I fixed that but am not getting any power to the new plug. I think its a fuse but I dont have an owners manual for it to find the right one. I looked them all over but I'm wondering if it you could be one of the big relays. Anyway if you have a manual could you post which fuse are to the A/C, maybe a picture of the diagram. I searched on google but couldn't find it.

If you meant evaporator instead of condenser then you can just short the two wires and the clutch will cycle. It's a low pressure cutoff switch to protect the compressor.
I can't think of any electrical connections on the condenser. You've got a head pressure switch on the back of the compressor, the low pressure switch on the accumulator and the connection to the compressor clutch, that's it. There may be also temp sensor on the evaporator core, not sure though.

It is the compressor clutch that isn't kicking on. Sorry for the wrong info. It has a 2 wire plug that goes in on the top left side. The top wire got pulled out of the plug. So I fixed that and it still didn't work. So I unpluged it turned the ac on and used a test light to see if I was getting power to the plug, I wasn't. So its just the clutch that's not kicking on.
Would I be able to use a toggle switch to turn it on and off?

It was fill right before I bought the truck back from my brother-n-law. The truck doesn't have a check engine light so would it still be able to read if the freon(sp?) is low

I know a tech 2 can that is what we have here at the shop more important it tells you what the pressure sensor is doing. They can go bad and drop high or low and disable the compressor. You really need to put a set of gauges on it and see if it has any referigerant in it. Gm compressors are notorious for leaking.
