give it a couple more days... always possible they threw it in a mailbox or dropped it off at the police station and it might take a few days to go through the system.
i dropped my wallet in a grass field on the side of the road while watching independence day fireworks a few blocks from my house. i thought for sure it was gone. luckly the person that picked it up knew where my street was and dropped it off at my door that night... not even just leaving it in the mailbox... personally delivered it to the door.
all hope is not lost yet.

i lost my wallet one time when i was sixteen when me and some buds were out fishing at a pond by the time i realized it was gone there were a lot of places that it could have went.......three years later the people that had leased the land from my uncle called my uncle up and said they had found the wallet in the pond where the water had went down. needless to say got my wallet back and it still had the $60 some odd dollars that was in it when i lost it.....so it was a good day

in the process the guy behind the counter recognizes her last name (It's not a common name)..
He asks her if she knows if anyone with that last name has lost there wallet?
She says she doesnt know( I hadnt told her)
So she calls me up and says that this guy's friend found a wallet in the Chili's parking lot Friday night, and was going to mail it to me Tuesday,
My mom gave him my phone number, and he called me up, and brought it to me.
