Default New motor is in and running..Dialup beware

All work done (attempted) by me..

Motor details
347ci, Eagle LS1 6.125" rods, Diamond -8.6 dish pistons, stock crank, new LS6 block, ARP head studs, custom Comp Cam 226/232 116LSA, Texas speed CNC LS6 stage 2.5 heads 2.04in 1.575 ex valves that I took apart and hand finished, Kooks 1 7/8" headers, ECS meth kit, ported Weiand intake, Will put me right at 9.5:1 compression... Doug at ECS said it will make an easy 750rwhp...

Last sunday and yesterdays work...

Todays work...6 hours of work today===1 roll cage installed, hood installed, and small tune adjustment... Going to drive it tomorrow...

does it really help that much to degree your cam? or is it just to squeeze out a little extra power?

When I first clicked this thread I expected to see a normal ol ls1 rebuild or something. I was very pleasantly surprised. Everything looks great and good luck with all the tuning!

Well, its nice to know that the cam you bought is what they say its supposed to be..Also I had it ground with 0 advance then degreed it in with 3 degs of advance...So its exactly where I want it...

Thanks a bunch..

Since the interior was apart, today I installed a hurst shifter with a C6 Z06 shift ****, aluminum gauge bezels in the cluster and the column lock bypass... The interior is now completely back together. Been a busy little beaver..
