Dont know if this has been done or not....but I thought it might be interesting.
I'll start:
Rifle Range Camp Pendleton, Ca. I knew some of the range personnel and heard it come across the radio. We stopped the range and pulled all the Marines that had family in NY. Was an eiry feeling watching all of the F-18's and Cobras take to the air.
To those that gave all.
To those that are still there...shoot another one for me...
I dont give a flying **** what the media says keep up the good work...and we'll see you when you get back.

I was in 10th grade.
My history teacher (bitch) wouldn't let us turn the TV on and see what was happening. She said "It's not history yet, we will watch it tomorrow when it is." Then she made us do work instead of watching the most major event to take place in our lifetimes unfold. Luckily I was only in there for an hour lol.

I woke up to one plane already hit. I remember thinking "man that's a horrible accident," not realizing that it was a big plane that hit. Then the second hit...
I remember sitting in Economics a senior in high school watching the buildings fall. Those videos are something I'll never forget. My dad works for the FAA and he said he was amazed at how fast EVERY plane was on the ground.

I think I was in the 7th grade. I don't remember exactly what class I was in, but I do know I was eating animal crackers at the time. I also remember a teacher running into our class and telling the teacher something in her ear, she then left the room for a good 5 minutes then came back and turned the tv on.

Was sitting down to feed my 1 month old daughter her morning bottle (Living in Lewisburg, WV at the time). Turned on the the TV and was like, "What the ****!!!" Both towers had already been hit and I watched both of them crumble. Wierd freakin' feeling.

was running late to work. mom had left the tv on and i saw the first tower with the burning hole thru the side of it. first thing that came to mind was independence day. didnt have time to watch it. but on my way to work had a few family members call me to let me know what had happened. soon as i got to work i seen what was goin on. had goosebumps watchin it. will never forget it cause i lost a family member a day before the attacks happened.

I was applying for a job at a car care center, the TV was on in the customer lounge, everyone including myself gathered around watching, we didnt know what to think, i drove home after the interview and got to the TV inside just to see the second hit. Crazy feeling.
