got harassed by power tripping security and cop Here it is, NorthPark mall in Dallas. Got a few nice cars to get some pictures taken after we ate. I got a loud exhaust, so they assumed we were speeding. The paper badge brigade comes up and say you all driving retarded? We all say no; we got a law student with us. Anyhow, they keep dragging their feet trying to get fish something out. Law student says that he will call cops to double confirm things. Well, the paper badges wise up and they finally find a moonlighter with a serious authority complex. Just ranting to the DFW folks. Some guard claimed to have a loud camaro and be on this site, however I call bs. Yea, sorry for the rant yall.

I'm finally back on the computer... saw a clean *** blue C5Z on 75 for the brief blast back home, made me smile again.
I was more pissed at the whole deal of presumption of guilt. Their first question being "driving retarded," granted we all had pretty witty and sharp remarks such as mine "no, not like you." Believe me, for the power trip they had, we made sure to get in our remarks. Me thinks they were just pissed because it was a vette... a 997C2S, an Evo, and a RX8. The law guy made sure to remind them of their place first and foremost. Eventually they caught onto that fact, much to their own dismay, as we let him speak for us on the most part. Eh, I got respect for a lot of cops, got quite a few good buddies that are, but the power tripping ones? They could drop off the face of the earth for all I care, and I wish no good will towards them. Abusing authority is a no-no in my book.

i know how ya feel man... i brought my cars up to the roof of a public parking garage once to take some pics and got kicked out by a power tripping rent-a-cop. would have been one thing if i was blocking fire lanes or being disruptive, but its was a weekend afternoon and the roof level parking lot was almost completley empty.
it was the highlight of his day to be a dick to you.

yea thats happend to me a couple times like when I was in the library and the security guard ran out of the elevator to demand me to throw away my energy drink? so I asked if I could finish then throw it away and drank some and he snatched it from me...that *******

Mine's a red one, i got the little skull things on my B-pillar he he he, stock wheels, oh and really really loud, among many things. It's not a looker... I haven't cleaned it(interior AND exterior) since like last year?
car goes into winter hibernation sometime this weekend though...
temps are starting to get too cold when not in traffic, and i got parts to get put on bleh, i'm constantly changing something or bitching about something.
Quickest way to tell if i'm on campus... you hear a constantly blipping throttle LSx. Ricerish I know... but it staves off from riding the brakes as much... eh... race pads gotta live with the squeal may as well reduce how much i hear it.
edit: saw your engineer, what major? you alum from here I take it?

I work in test engineering, but I am going back to get my finance degree from SMU. I am a TA for EE 1301 with Dr. Gosney. I see a red Z06 with a roll cage and racing seats in the Moody garage. Then I see a black Z06 with Lingenelter stickers around. Don't remember if I have seen yours, to many nice cars to remember them all.
