My wife and I go a bit nuts, but we enjoy it. A few others in our neighborhood in Spring Branch do some, but not a ton by any means. If you want to see an impressive display just go to Moody Gardens in Galveston. The whole place is done up. Well worth the $5.
As far as neighborhood Candlelight Estates and some neighborhoods in that area do some cool stuff.
