What did we lose? Patton has proved nothing. He has potential, but proved nothing last season. Scott is a non-factor. He may be able to come close to Tejada's numbers, but we have no use for him here in Houston. Albers is mediocre on the days he doesn't suck and Costanzo is a nonproven player at a position we don't need any help with.

Now we get Prior in for spring training and see where he can get.
Roy and Sampson are solid. Woody and Jennings make we want to run into a large knife, and Wandy should only pitch at home. Our lineup is going to be explosive with more speed and power than in previous years. The idea of the astros having four 30 homerun guys who hit for average is nuts.

So what will we do when Hunter runs into the wall and misses 6 weeks??? What do we do when the report says Tejada is a steroid user??? I would hate to see us give all that up and he opts out. Anyone remember the Randy Johnson trade??? I just want to see the pitching improved and I have yet to see that. Great defense and great pitching and timely hitting that is what we need. Heck 86 games can win the Central.

According to SI.com, Tejada will be named in the Mitchell Report along with such names as Roger Clemens and Andy Pettite.

I wouldn't mind keeping Burke as a bench guy, but I don't think that will happen. They'll trade him for cash considerations like they did for Ensberg and Lane if needed.
I predict Yordany Ramirez will be OF #4 and Cruz Jr. will be OF #5.

I think Tejada is a very good SS, but he probably peaked as a player a couple of years ago. Don't get me wrong, I like the trade. Hopefully he'll elevate his game offensively with the short left field. On defense he's "OK". We're used to seeing highlight reel defensive plays from Everett @ SS, but he couldn't hit his weight, so this is most definitely a big upgrade at short. I really hated giving up Patton. He's the one young stud that I wouldn't have parted with. I think he'll wind up being a seriously good MLB starter for many years to come, and him being a lefty makes giving him up hurt even more.

MIGUEL ROIDJADA!!!!!!! LOL,
He's still a good player but still what a fckn cheater. They all deserve to be ridiculed and left out of the Hall of Fame. I love the game more than I love the Sox, and what they did is fcked up. And Roger Clemens is full of ****.
