Nobody here has one of those pager alarms that when someone is entering your vehicle it alerts you? I've been looking into one of those.

door handle was $85, I replaced it just now. No other damage, luckily.

Filed the police report and gave them the gun serial #. The officer told me that there is usually a good chance of getting it back, because these crooks aren't very smart and usually get busted with the weapon later.

He also said all of those restaurants in that area get stuff broken into daily. The tow truck guy that dropped by also confirmed that. Guess I won't be driving there for lunch anymore

Not sure what a pager alarm would be good for. I'd just walk out and get shot by my own gun.

Good point, but I have to ask Tony is there any reason you didn't have it on your person?

Hate to here it, Tony. It could have been alot worse. Hope the thief is caught, or even better shot, if he attempts to use your gun.

Damn man...f*cking theives! We had 4 guys get their company laptops stolen from a company truck at the same restaurant. There was also a Canuck that worked for Weatherford that got carjacked in front of our hotel, too. Gotta love Gunspoint.

Sorry about your truck...

I don't have a CHL yet, so I just keep pistols with me in the car.

Just the thought of this makes my head want to explode!

I've been on the same end of BS theft that I am like NB which is zero tolerance.

The Castle law can balance the playing field.

If you are a thief.....ya better think twice!

That just sux Tony

I understand your point. But there will be a day when you finally get your CHL Or Get tired of your stuff either stolen or broken into and whether or not you have a CHL will carry one on you so you will have your defense. I got tired of getting my stuff stolen and my car stolen to where'st I was ready in case they had the unfortunate timing of letting me catch them in the act.

Sorry to hear that Tony! Gunspoint is notorous for that, and shootings like the one at the mall last week. Sad what its coming down to!

I had some POS break into my New F350 in Memphis for the LSX Shootout, luckily they didnt get anything, just busted the handle and a little bend in the door. In 04 had my old F350 broken into at my apartment at 290 @ 1960 and stole my stereo (About 2K worth of equip.) and ransacked it. Then broke into my dads F250 and steal a dig. camera I didnt know was in there.

They need to hang a few theives in front of city hall and that will stop a bunch of these A-holes. 2 things I cant stand, 1 a theif and 2 a lair both worthless as the dog **** i stepped in yesterday!

Sorry to hear about it! The wife's car was broken into a few months back, the term murderous rage comes to mind.

Tony - time for one of these: http://www.center-of-mass.com/

Good pistol safe for the vehicle - they have biometric safe offerings as well. Good for storing a firearm in a vehicle, or anything else for that matter. I've not heard of someone getting away with one of their safes, if properly secured to the vehicle.

Sorry to hear about that. Your can drive one of the Field Engineers vehicles to lunch... you have an assortment to choose from. I do hope you recover your firearm. BTW try and stay out of trouble man.
