Default Check out the ported tb I just got in the mail

It apparently has a bondo'd section - as seen in the pic... It feels smooth but looks and feels like sanded down bondo.. Do you think this will effect it's performance??

Here is a pic of what I'm talking about:

That used to be a common mod. It will not hinder anything but most people did not like that it could fall off into your motor.

It's probably epoxy. Not sure what they used since I don't know that person, but that's what Shaner uses on his.

that looks like hammered dog $hit..
even the polish job looks hideous..
if you want.. you can send it to me, and I could see what I could do to clean it up, and at least make it look presentable..
..
I live on the other side of Houston from you..
it should only cost you about $5 to ship it to me..

haha.. yeah.. my thoughts exactly. i can't even tell it's been ported... just looks like a bondo's dirty *** tb.. i think i'm gonna re-sell it but let the buyers know in advance so they're not disappointed when they get it.

How much would you charge for a good port job? I can just have you do my stocker

I'd get one without that epoxy/bondo whatever it is crap on it. I took off my TB the other day that was on the car when I got it and wouldn't you know that epoxy/bondo area was loose. I bet it wouldn't do the motor any good if that **** fell in the intake .

I port them for 100 the way you see it. There is more done to it than what you see on the front face.

I'll give you a call this weekend and bring it up to you. Everything I've heard about you has been positive so I'm glad to give you my business. Thanks
