Default EE looking for a job in Texas.....

Usually I would not post something like this, but figured it was worth a try.

After working here in Seattle for the past 3 yrs, I am ready to go ahead and move back to Texas. I'm an Electrical Engineer (II) currently employeed by an aviation/commercial plane company out of Seattle. I have been here for the past 3 yrs with the first 2 yrs focused on power system engineering, and the last in project management engineering. (This is not to say I am not open to any circuit/network design or any other jobs related to the discipline, but thought I'd identify the particulars of my experience.) If anyone knows of any openings or opportunities please let me know. I do have an resume upon request. If there are any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thank you,

Rey

P.S. Excuse the avatar.

I agree, and I would of done this sooner, but wanted to wait until the right time to make the move. With the program coming to an end, aspirations of pursuing an MBA, and the desire to be closer to my family as I and my career develop it seems the right time is just about here.

I hear you. I have applied to both Raytheon and Lockheed on-line, along with Boeing in Houston. As mentioned above though, I did not want to limit myself to only opportunities within those companies, so I just figured posting a thread on LS1tech would serve as another catalyst to increase the number of potential job opportunities.

I agree. As an EE, you would probably enjoy working at L3 Greenville. You would want to live in Rockwall, Rowlett, Wylie, etc. Just go for a software or developement job and stay out of design. PM me for details.

Also, there are a million EE jobs in Austin (National Instruments, Dell, etc.).

P.S. You need to have a pretty clean record. The Feds will be checking you out THOROUGHLY.

Thanks for the info.

And I'm clean as a whistle. The worst thing I've done, run a toll. Probably not, but it's the only thing that comes to mind.
