Default Place/website in Houston for puppies?

I am looking for a small puppy. I don't want a large one right now as I am in an apartment but my son wants one so what the hell. I would preferably like a Jack Russell but am open to ideas with the exception of a shitwahwa, a shitzu, and a **** for brains. I want one that can be trained but arent real yappy. Most Jack Russell's that I have seen are pretty quiet when told.

Any help?

I will get another white shepard later when I get a backyard.

I have the perfect puppy for you. She is house trained and she isn't yappy.

Oh and she is free to a good home.

She would perfect in an apartment. She wouldn't have any fences to jump over, plus you have to put her on a leash to walk her, so she can't take off.

At least think about it...please.

Thanks for the info guys/girls. I am going to start looking around to see what I really want. I want something that doesn't chew, doesn't bark much and is good to my son. I will let ya'll know if and when I come across something.

Post a pic or two up on here and recommend a large yard for running. She is gorgeous and would fit in well with someone that has a large yard and a 12' fence so she can't jump over it! She is the most well behaved Chow mix that I have ever known.

Wouldn't you know it, I was about 3 blocks from my house on my way home and saw a sign with Jack's for sale. Well I decided to call and go back to look and now I am the owner of an 8wk old male Jack Russell. He has a jacked up right ear like it developed upside down but that just gives him some character. He was the calmer of the two pups that I haven't decided on a name yet, might wait for my son to see him to help with that. Of course if I do that then the chances are that he will be named Spiderman or Bumblebee! I will post some pix tomorrow evening after I get my camera back home.

I have a chocolate lab. He loves being inside and can sleep all day and night. He'll sit by the door whenever he wants to go outside and he'll bark at you to let you know he's ready to be brought inside.. I have no freakin' clue where he picked that up, he just started doing it one day. Good choice on the jack russell terrier, they are pretty cool little dogs. My ex-girlfriend's aunt had one.

Just pulled this little girl out from underneath my car like 10 minutes ago. She's really playfull, in fact, I think her tail is wagging her. And she just really wants to sit in my lap. Shes right at knee high when she stands up. I cant keep her. So Ill probably turn her loose again in the morning, since I cant take her to the SPCA.

If you were interested though Randy, Ill hold her for a day so you can check it out.
