Looking at GTO's
 

I decided to go ahead and get me a goat over another fbody. I'm looking in the 05-06 range. As far as mileage goes it looks like I can save three or four grand going with one that has 25-40K on it. Or since I am wanting to buy a good tight car do I suck it up shell it out and get me one in the 8-20K mileage range. They are in the 22-26K dollar range. This is a car I am keeping for a long time and a graduation present to myself!! I am trying to get what I want and still stay within a reasonable budget. 04's are reasonable but I want an LS2

Go with the lower miles cars. A couple grand financed over a period of 4-5 years is just $40 or so extra a month.
