I got tired of waiting so i headed back, shitty *** line of traffic, must have been 100,000 tickets and 4,000 parking spots.

Default dragapalooza

I guess I should have gone earlier! We got to the Chevron gas station about 3:05pm and got to the entrance at 4:55pm!!!I just went straight and looped around back home. The stands were full and so was the parking lot.Lesson learned, get there early or fight traffic.I had the whole family along and we were having hurricane Rita evacuation flashbacks.

I wasn't impressed. To many people out there today that only went because of the free tickets. First off, I am not a fan of 1/8th mile racing but the clusterfuck of the parking lot and entrance gate almost pissed me off and that takes a lot. It took us an hour and a half to get in from 146 walked around for a few hours then sat back out in the parking lot for another 2 hours trying to get out. Oh well, can't complain with free tickets but I will definitely not be going again next time for the free stuff.

I actually took all the pics. Gray lolly gagged around the whole time.

Took the ladies our to their first drag racing event ever and they had a damn good time.

we showed up @ 11am. Left about 6ish. Got to see a lot of bad *** cars and familiar faces!

Saw Mike (invisiblez), Amber and Joe (six speeds inc) were also out there.

Just got home from the track myself and I had a great time. It was really good to see Dennis and Billy again and hang out with the old crew. Congrats to Jim Halsey on the win in Pro Nitrous. He went 4.0's all day long in both lanes.

Yall were too busy talking in a group of people kinda by the concessions and I didn't want to butt in. And I figured you probably didn't have a clue on who I was

We sat in the suite all day long. It was nice being preggo and just being able to lounge. I have to thank James and Sheila for lending us the passes to there suite. The "Grocery Getter Gang" saved a pregnant lady from bitching all day long and the husband from beating his head agains the wall!

You should have said something Brian!

Sorry I did not see either one of you Amber or Joe. Till next time LIKE ALWAYS!

It really was a good time. Really the first time I got to watch a race instead of working on a car.

My Dad and I got there around 12pm when they first started the event was cool but all the kids annoyed the **** out of me and the parking was horrible. We sat in the same spot for two hours didn't get out of the parking lot until 6pm.

We left Hooters in Pasadena at around 12, rolled down 146 and kept on rolling, luckily I knew of a short cut that not 2 many people knew of from the old days ended up right beside the track and was in the gates(pit side) by 1:15 and walking around. There was a ton of people, but what do you expect for free.

I saw Gray and his ole lady by the concession stands but didn't realize who it was until after I had passed. I heard there was around 45k people at the track by noon; luckily I took the super secret entrance with Prostreet 632 to get into the track so traffic wasn't too bad !
