Default shipping motor from DFW to Houston?

Central would be about $100 if you get any kind of discount. Depends on what your time is worth I guess.

We deal with FedEx when we ship. They ship all over the place for us!

LOL as in that's cheap or too expensive? My freight calculator shows $131 but it also includes packaging costs. I've got a flat rate $150 anywhere in the country with one vendor but we push over $5,000,000 a year through them.

LOL...as in that isn't what it would cost for an individual(not a business) to ship and INSURE a motor for what it is actually worth at average retail pricing.
Whenever I ship something, insurance is a MAJOR factor with me.
Most of the no namer shipping companies offer something like $2k insurance, which is a joke when you are shipping a $10k motor.
To each their own though.
But yea, $100 would definately be a hookup price.
Shipping $5 mil a year definately helps you get the homey-hookup pricing!

I had a $9500 Range Rover 4.4 get delivered to me last month on a flat pallet with bungee cords. Well it was worth $9500 until the starter ear broke off. Had a 5R110 transmission delivered today with a broken case from a forklift fork going through it. It was worth around $2,000, now it's not even worth picking up. In both cases they were signed for on delivery with no inspection.
