So i "raced" a R34 SKYLINE GT-S.. lol
Well i was on my way home when i saw a white Skyline going the oposite way. I turned around to to follow it and get it to race.. Well we stopped at a stop sign and the street ahead kinda curved alil so i didn't think he would hit it, but then i heard some tire chirp so i just was going to slowly hit it. When i was at about 1/4 throttle i was keeping up with him. So i just kept the pedal steady thinking he wasn't racing. He slowly gets ahead of me about 2 cars, then i hear him chirp in to second... I should of hit it then but i was just dumb founded at how slow this thing was, and just kept pace with him about 3-4 cars back..
So i guess in the end i lost and later tonight i saw him at this car meet and talk to him and he asked me "is that really a V8" and then i said "dude ha, i was at 1/4 throttle the whole time.." then he put his head down and told me "Oh, well its just a stock RB25det GT-S" Which it was stock but still for being the ricer's god send car.. all i can say is

What type was it that you saw the numbers for? big differences between the GT-S and GT-R. also have to look and see that all Japanese cars can not have more than something like 270bhp. The traction the GTR is why it can run but its an all AWD car that handles like a RWD drive on a road course. Thats where it made it's name.

Yea the GT-R is the fast one it has a 2.6L twin turbo AWD, and the one i raced the GT-S has a 2.5L single turbo RWD.. But still if you take a car like that to any ricer meet like the one i was just at, ppl will crowed all around it and act like its the king of the road..

i know the difference and that they are known for the road corse and not the strip.. but just hate ignorence ricer boys have over these cars. just cause it's a "SKYLINE" makes it the baddest and fastest car on the road no matter what trim.. It could be the basic four door version and paople we worship it..

Ha ha Lol on the crowd comment..I actually saw that happen at one of the ricer meets in Houston, it was a grey GTR right hand steering wheel, driven by some Asian chick. It didn't look that astetically pleasing. I wanted to race it but. I didn't have the set to call out a chick in my stock ws6 A4.

all i can say, twin turbo....... hmmm if you have to put that from the factory to be fast, its not all that good in my eyes. slap a twin turbo setup on an LS1 car and you have something.

I'm not impressed by any car that has to be powered by a motor bigger than 3 liters to make power.

yeah you will have a broken rear end, tranny, cracked block, ect...
those cars are not that impressive stock, but you can turn up the boost and make lots of power without breakin other parts..they are well built just like supras!!!!!!

Could you imagine how much that would cost to buy if they made that stock from the factory? lol

is that how small they are? 8000HP on 500ci haha yea WEEK. but then again 75% of the time those cars drop at least one cylinder on their pass or the blower blows off the heads But it wouldnt be american if it didnt break. lol
And yea dont get me wrong I love Nissan's thee my favorite import car and my family has owned several over the years including two 350z's and they are well built machines..
