We got there late(3:30)and managed to rip off one pass. That is the first time I have been to Lonestar and I must say the track prep was right up there with the best of them. Me and the G-Force Team rolled out there just to make a couple of passes to represent the shop and in the process I have become a fan of this track. We had a Great time and thanks to all the people that helped put this event togather.

I had a blast out there too. I didn't have any traction in first, but did pull of an 11.6 at 132. I need to fab a 9" or 12" rearend. Overall, I had a great time. The track was good and so was the prep work. My brother took a few pics. It was pretty overcast, so I tried to turn it up a little and it didn't quite work the way I thought it would...but oh well!

Johns vette has a built motor and a ECS Paxton kit....For now.. I see a F1-C Procharger and 800 RWHP in his future.

I think I did run you once. It was nice, because we got to pretty much run as many as we wanted to! I would have liked to run more, but my X-pipe decided to disconnect from my rear exhaust. Just wish I could launch the **** out of it at 5 Grand. It is definately not a drag car, it is more of a 40+ car.

I've got the ECS kit. It uses the Novi 1500 head unit.

Here are a couple vids...not that good of quality.

Not being able to launch it hard is just frustrating. If I could just cut the 60ft. and 330ft. down, I'd be just fine. I am just feathering it till about 35 and rolling into 2nd with full throttle in 3rd and 4th. It was nice to go out there and have a ton of fun and not break anything. My last run, against Richie, I wanted to do a 3k launch...but my brother reminded me I had to drive it home It was the first time to the track with the new set up. I am going to look into the Racelogic System and see if it can help me out a little. Other than that, it was really nice to get to see a ton of real clean, fast cars!! Going to have to do it more often. Maybe my brother and Mikey will bring their Vettes out next time

John

Edit:Is this you?

I just got home from work like an hour ago. Pulled the ole 6am-11pm, Now I get to have like 5 hours of sleep before I do it all over again. lol

Not sure if the 02's helped much. The car drives better, but speed wise it's tough to say. Might need to check my coil packs.
