Default 2 questions....

1st one...
I am taking the Z28 into the shop tomorrow to have the AC looked at..
It blows air fine, but it takes for ever to get cold air going, about the best it did today was cool air..
I checked the Refrigerant level, and the gauge said it was fine(don't know that I trust the gauge though....), but I don't know....
Compressor seems to be running...
anything else to check before I waste my money on something I can fix????

Second question...
anybody have an exploded diagram of the high beam lever, and how it connects to the rod....
I was trying to fix mine, and a black plastic piece fell out, and I don't know how it went back in...
It obviously pushes the rod down to activate the switch, but I spent 2 hours trying to get it back in there, and couldn't figure it out...
any help ???????

You taking it to Just Right? if not, consider it, they do REALLY good work, the only shop that I let touch my cars. Mines going in there next week for AC work.

I can't help with the second part.

You're more than likely just low on refrigerant. I wouldn't necessarily trust the gauge.

you're probably low on 134, i'd have them put some dye on the system to see if you can find a leak. make sure they put a little pag oil in too. if you do have a leak, the oil goes out with the 134

well found out that the compressor is not working correctly..
plus it was over charged....
They let a little of it out, too get it back down to the correct pressure, but it's maybe about 5 degrees cooler than what it was which isn't saying much..
Now to go see if I can sell my first born, to get it fixed...

on another note....

anybody know anything about the high beam switch that I asked earlier?????
