2 entry level positions Hi guys!
I just wanted to give this a shot for some of the young guys looking to get a start in the machine shop industry. I work at FW Gartner Thermal Spraying, and I am the production assistant there. We are looking for 2 guys to come in from 8am-4:30 5 days a week to clean machines and some general shop cleaning.
A little background on this position is as follows:
We believe in working from the bottom to the top. You can learn a lot about a person's drive and ambition when they are on the pushing end of a broom. We're looking for people that can eventually become trained thermal sprayers and machinists. Once a person has proven themselves in the entry level position, we are willing to advance and train employees on how to run our equipment. I will post a link to the company's website so that you can see what we do here.
Trust me I know where this position can lead to. I started out pushing a broom 7 years ago while still in college, and now I have a great job here. I am very fortunate, and I'd love to pass this along to someone who would like to learn a very important and fun trade.
We are relatively flexible on scheduling, and there will be very little downtime.
Starting pay is $10 per hour. As I have said, this is an entry level position but it is definitely one of those "sky is the limit opportunities"
