Moving to Dickinson...

What up guys, No Ls1 here, but an F-body is an F-body... The coast guard is bringing me down to the area at the end of the week.. Going to be stationed in Texas City/Galveston. I'm buyin a house in Dickinson, should be closed in a couple of weeks..

Anyone from around here? any good weekend carshows, hangouts, etc?? Whats the closest 1/4 mile track... lookin to get to know the lay of the land, and have somthing to do on the weekends...

Kemah is the best local show on Saturday nights. Local track is HRP located in Baytown.

I grew up in Santa Fe right next to Dickinson. Welcome to the area, hope you are not used to pretty beaches, you will be disappointed.

Angleton Raceway isnt that far from you.
Also in Lake Jackson there is a lil something every weekend in the Hobby Lobby parking lot around 9 and later.
