claim with ups
claim with ups bought some wheels from ebay and the guy had good rating but i got the wheels and stuck on my tires and they seem to be bent...called the guy he told me about how he had no problems but he put in a claim with ups....
as of now im out 250
ups wants to come get the wheels and inspect then return them to the sender, i told them that wasnt goana happen since i dont have any copensation...i also told them they might be fixable so i didnt want them returned..
they said i could take pics and they would check them out but i dont have the original packaging so they said nvm, they would contact the store that sent them...store is telling me to deal with ups they wont talk to me, ups says seal wit hthe store its outa their hands
what should i do about this?

hate to say this. but you will have a better chance at striking the lotto rich before ups owns up to their mistake. my freind ordered a aluminum crate motor from a vendor that ups shipped for. before they sent the motor out it was checked and sent damage free from their warehouse well he got the motor and it had a hole in the oil pan from a forklift piercing it. damage was noted immediately but he had to sign for it. well ups declined the claim saying he did the damage even tho it was evident that ups fucked it up. 
damn...well then i guess the guy will hopefully cover it...im not sure if it was ups fault or not...but we went to balance them and they are bent slightly...

Hell, good luck with those idiots. I filed a claim for 100 bucks and they sided on me, but wouldn't refund my money. That is why I will never ever send anything without using a credit card so I can charge back if need be
Fedex lost 1 of 4 wheels I had shipped from a retailer back in Dec. I got the same runaround BS. The seller and the shipping co have to work it out. Keep trying and be polite, hope it works out.

does'nt sound like a ups problem i think someone sold you a bent rim. When i bought some new tires one of mine was bent but u cant tell from driving the car The seller just didnt know. Im not saying ups couldnt be at fault but it takes quite a bit of force to bend a rim
im aware of that but the guy wants to claim it with ups...i dont think it was ups either...im having a buddy check them with a laser, he said normally they car repair them for under 50 bux...thats why i wanna keep them...
I had pretty good luck. I took pictures of the curb rash that UPS put on mine and they picked it up and voila a few days later,I had a new wheel...
