Wasnt really the trans as much as it was running waaaaay rich from lack of nitrous.... when ya spray that much you dont get many runs on the bottle. None of that smoke was the transmission fluid. All the fact that I have a wet Gemini Plate that puts a boat load of racegas in the engine without the nitrous to support it! 
When you pulled up at that meet your car had smoking coming from underneath and it smelled of hot trans fluid. You may be more worried about your engine, but you need to take care of that A3 too.

I'll attempt pics...problem is most of the LS1Tech folks come when it gets dark...my camera with night vision and the lights in the parking lot goes insane.
