Well this isn't good..

Here is a quote of my post from 6speed, but basically this is where I sit on my boost issue I have been having... :(

Went to do the test that Markski told me to do the other day and I pulled off my passenger side inlet tube and saw this
http://www.vobra.org/pics/700/good1.jpg

It had a TINY bit of dmg on the blades, but nothing that could hurt anything at all. My only guess is that there was some junk in my inlet tubes at one point.

Then I pull off the drivers side inlet tube to find this.

Yeah so basically that turbo is fucked in the A..... So yeah I did find this in my tube going to the intercooler

So yeah the turbos are coming off tomorrow, both of them and are going back to Tial to get rebuilt...

mycamaroSS Aug 30, 2008 02:31 PM

Strini SS Aug 30, 2008 02:33 PM

Nine Ball Aug 30, 2008 04:01 PM

what is that loose piece?

OUCH!

Inspector12 Aug 30, 2008 04:29 PM

Well like I feared when we talked Chris. Sorry to hear that so it looks like no matter what car you modify porche or LSx etc... it can become a PITA!!

U LUZ Aug 30, 2008 04:43 PM

Just sharpen the blades with a dramel tool just put more pitch on them it will be fine. But for real that sux. So where did all those pieces go into your intercooler?

306 That Could Aug 30, 2008 07:00 PM

What the hell is that???

Trev_SS Aug 30, 2008 07:34 PM

I really thing you need to examine everything to make sure that there is nothing else fucked up with any other parts. Good luck sorry to see that

Sarge_13 Aug 30, 2008 07:51 PM

Damn that sucks man. I'd check everything else and make sure no other damage occurred just to be safe.

Mr Powell Aug 30, 2008 07:57 PM

The weird thing is we don't know exactly those extra pieces are. One thing I know they are not part of is the turbos, but not sure wtf it could have come from.

I'll know more tomorrow hopefully :(

kornfreak_401 Aug 30, 2008 08:04 PM

damn bro

chrysler kid Aug 31, 2008 12:26 AM

that thing in your intercooler was probably a busted clamp at one point. didi you install the turbos yourself? if not i would have the shop that installed them pay for your damage, nothing that could cause that much damage to the wheel could have EVER gotten past a filter unless you had a huge hole in the filter.

if a shop did it they could have figured well he has money anyways so lets get more business

Outlawfireman Aug 31, 2008 12:29 AM

BURN!!!!! Damn dude that sucks a big one.

Mike96z Aug 31, 2008 12:29 AM
