diy crank pinning/keyway? Has anyone fabbed up a way to do this other than buying the ATI kit? Seems like a lot of money for a drill bit guide and all.

I got a nice little kit from A&A Corvette. Much cheaper than the ATI.

I've seen that one and it looks nice. Is is safe to make a new notch on a pulley with this? I'm assuming the dowel couldn't be used where a pulley's existing notch is.
