Welder Question (Picking a...)

Tractor Supply has a Hobart125 for ~$370 and it comes with regulator for gas, gun, wire ... basically ready to go. Hobart is a consumer version of a Miller.
It should be OK for home use and metals up to 1/8" thick.

I think a nice mig is the way to go, but my dad who is a professional welder only deals with stick welders..........I think hes just old school
