Default AC block off plate

anybody have any info on how they made theirs? dimensions or other helpful hints?

i figure id go buy some sheet aluminum and cut it up. did you guys bolt it from the inside or from under the hood?

also, if i wanted to keep heat (i pretty much destroyed all plastic parts), i need to make a box for the blower fan? and then fun the heat/coolant lines (the ones coming from the water pump) into the aluminum heater (core) thing?

newb here. thanks in advance

Traced the opening on cardboard and added 1"

The latest block off was made from an .090 aluminum sign I found, scuffed and painted to match the body.

Used the factoy bolts, but never had to remove it. So I've been riveting them in place of late from the inside. Seal it with RTV.

I pretty much took a few quick measurements and cut it free-hand, since I'm so impatient.
