Would love to get a lift, what do you guys think of the maxi jack lift? I have low ceilings in my garage so this seems like a good deal

I heard it is a good lift..Made by BendPak..You must have the proper concrete thickness and psi rating or you will have the lift break the concrete with car on it..Could possible fall on you..Not a good situation..

I thought the purpose of a lift was so you could walk underneath the car. That just killd it for me with this lift.

Not everyone has a high garage ceiling, I have a that lift and it's been holding may full size 1968 catalina in the air for 1 1/2 years. Sometimes siting under it is better than standing for a long time. My ceiling is 7' 1/2",

I think it looks pretty sweet. I like the idea of being able to move the system around so it would not eat up 1.5 stalls of garage space all the time. I understand it would be better if you had higher ceilings but not everyone has that luxury. Good luck with your decision.

I have one, it is made by dannmar. I love it, at full height, i can sit on a roller stool at it lowest setting. I just pulled my motor out the bottom with it. I am now able to finally do my own exhaust work. Any questions on it, let me know. You wont want to work on a car any other way.

As far as height, I have 10 foot ceilings. I can put a dodge caravan full height on it.

Its a cool piece of hardware, thats for sure. But ****, that thing is expensive! If its at least American made, then I might consider buying one.

Its made in china. Its really not that bad of a price. Most people dump $700 in labor to have a rack put in there car on labor, oh yeah , that was me before I had my max jaxx and had my garage.

Its a really nice, piece. If you work on your car alot or have a modified car, its a must.

Price has gone up on all lifts lately. Not sure why. But you are right...thats getting up there a lil higher than I would like to see.

I paid $1800 shipped for mine when they came out. I would probably still pay $2100...but not be quite as happy.

I do recommend it though. I have done a TON of lifting with it. Including my 8 passenger SUV that weighs 4600 lbs.

And it really does take about 15 minutes to set up and a little less to take down.

I just move mine to the side of the garage, takes 15 minutes. Also, you will be able to get leverage when working on your car and you can actually remove your exhaust and put it up right.

Also, with it up so high, there is a ton of light under there so you can see.
