PlastiDip on jack stands?
I've seen those plastic top covers for jack stands and was curious if something like PlastiDip could be used on the stands instead. I'm just looking for something to help with grip and help prevent scratching things up under there. Thoughts?

I just use shop rags myself. The Harbor freight ones will work if you want to get fancy.

I use some old thick astroturf on the floorjack pad and wrap the candlestick tops with astroturf and tie it on with safety wire or zipties . Works well and last a decent length of time. Hockey Pucks work well for low dollar motor/mount pads and jacking/jackstand pads if you have the style with large flat tops. They can slide on the jackstand application.
