Default Painting/Powdercoating curing lamp?

So my dad got this sweet *** over sized and over powering air compressor...

im picking up a $30 stove this weekend and will be purchasing a eastwood powdercoating kit and probaby a just a cheap paint gun

Anyways my question was who uses curing lamps instead of an oven because i dont know if i can get my rims inside this oven lol

need a cheap curing lamp or two... or three haha
any reviews?

JB, powdercoating isn't like paint with regards to 'curing'. PC must be baked consistently at approximately 400º for the powder melt and flow for an even covering of the part. If you want a good site for powdercoating, check out Powder Buy The Pound, at the home page find the 'Forum' button at the top right, LOTS of good info there. If that doesn't work find an Easy Bake Oven.

I have seen people use the heating coils from the oven and build a makeshift oven from flame retardant cement board. If your going to do tons of stuff this is not the way to go but for a set of rims, and the occasional powder coating this may work.
