Sam's CLub Tools

So I paid the $35 membership fee to see what they had.

I saw a stainless steel double wide two chest high tool box that was AUSOME...it sold for $650 - seems like a great value...the drawers were smooth as glass...

Also saw a 25 gallon compressor by Coleman and some chrome Stanley tool starter sets for cheap...

My dad's got that tool chest. Its a pretty good tool chest. My only complaint is that the drawers are a lot shallower than they look. You can't put a torque wrench box or air drill in them without the drawers rubbing on the one above it.

..really; that is good to know...

...what about the total space in these boxes? I think I could buy two double Husky boxes (about $300 each) and have the same space as one of the Sam's boxes (upper & lower). Anyway, the Husky junk is not made from stainless and the drawers are not so smooth...

The key to smoothness in any of them is ball bearing slides. They don't all have this.

..this Sam's box has glass-smoooth ball bearing drawers....

Last time I saw a toolbox at Sam's membership was a jesse james toolbox.
